Where did it all start?
Doordeals' roots go back to 1971 when John Naylor opened a local DIY & Door store on Abbeydale Road in Sheffield forging a reputation for good quality products, knowledgeable staff & great customer service within the local community . Stephen Naylor (John’s son and now MD) joined the original team back in 1995. In 2007 Stephen's keen interest in computers & IT led to investment in our first foray into the world wide web with the launch of www.doordeals.co.uk. The online Presence was launched with the same values in mind as what had served them well in the Sheffield shops. Good products, knowledgeable staff, competitive prices but most importantly good customer service.
In 2009 the phase 2 of the Doordeals website was launched, giving more products and (hopefully!!) an enhanced customer experience. Business continued to develop, so much so that in September of 2010 Door Deals relocated their business and now have offices, a showroom and large distribution centre based on Saxon Road in Sheffield.
October 2011 sees the launch of www.doordeals.co.uk phase 3, with yet more products. Offering additional product information, We have also made customer communication a priority with the launch of our new interactive customer log in area & live chat.
