The Oak Trufold 54 Elite Sliding, Folding Doorset is the choice for those wanting a modern and more flexible alternative to traditional French doors.

Each set includes doors, frame, cill, folding hardware, tracks, locks, handles, frame fixings, lintel fixings and easy-to-follow fitting and assembly instructions.

What’s more, virtually everything is pre-engineered - making the doors simple to fit and adjust up or down, left or right with a simple screwdriver action. We even include special drill bits to make fitting easier!

• 54mm thick doors for extra strength, stability and thermal performance
• Each set has single or double daily access doors for ease of entry/exit without having to open the set fully every time
• The sets open outwards to save space in the home and to stop any rain water dripping down the glass onto your floor during inclement weather
• Top hung roller system to ensure smooth action compared to bottom roller systems which tend to clog with debris in the bottom track and jamb
• Full 24mm double glazed units using Low E toughened thermally efficient glass – Part L rating one of the best on the market at 1.5W/m2K for the whole set – suitable for refurbishment of existing homes or New Home Building projects as fully Part L compliant for both.

Naturally, all timber used in the making of these door sets is responsibly sourced and FSC certified.

Why not have a play for yourself?

The three-point locking system has two hook bolts for added security and the doors can be locked both inside or out. Classic handles are supplied in a PVD finish to reduce the likelihood of tarnish.

All sets have sliding bolts at the top and lockable sliding bolts at the bottom for extra security.

A unique Vufold design feature - the combined oak top cill and aluminium sub cill allow water to drain away without going through the wood.

Opening Configurations

The Trufold 54 Elite Sliding, Folding Door Sets are available in a number of different opening configurations and create a flexible system to suit your specific requirements.

Reversible left or right folding door opening is available from the same set - you don't have to specify when you order.

Finishing

Supplied pre-finished with a three-coat factory finish, these sets arrive ready to hang.

Things we thought you may need to know!

These doors are manufactured using LVL (Laminated Veneered Lumber). LVL or more commonly known as “engineered timber” is a modern method of construction that is economical with the use of natural timber resources. The main parts & rails of the door are usually constructed using solid strips/blocks of timber (some internals may contain a laminated board and/or particleboard), which are then glued and then clamped together. They are then faced with a veneer and edged with a solid timber “lipping”. The benefits of using engineered construction doors over more traditional methods are; The door has a much more uniform look (no mismatched colours/panels, everything matches), It is far more unlikely to twist, split (we do not get problems with panels splitting) and possibly the most important reason is that it is much more Eco friendly!
