About this door

These Internal Hardwood IFG50P Glazed Pairs would be an ideal solution for anyone who would like to open up a room and allow extra light to flow through from room to room. These doors are manufactured from kiln dried red hardwood timber. Every effort is made to ensure that all timber used for our doors comes from well-managed forests where more trees are planted than harvested. All doors have beading cut, mitred and pinned. They come as a 40mm thickness and can only be used internally

Glazing

This door is supplied Pre-Glazed with Clear Bevelled glass. Great glass option that allows plenty of light to flow through and gives the door more depth.

Finishing

Supplied Unfinished, these doors are able to take a stain or paint finish.

The correct storage, fitting and finishing of your new door/s are very important factors in getting the best out of your purchase.

We would always recommend reading our Door Care information which can be viewed by Clicking Here, along with any additional manufacturers documentation supplied with the door itself.

Things we thought you may need to know!

These doors are listed as the TOTAL size for the pair of doors rather than the size of each door leaf.

These doors are manufactured using LVL (Laminated Veneered Lumber). LVL or more commonly known as “engineered timber” is a modern method of construction that is economical with the use of natural timber resources. The main parts & rails of the door are usually constructed using solid strips/blocks of timber (some internals may contain a laminated board and/or particleboard), which are then glued and then clamped together. They are then faced with a veneer and edged with a solid timber “lipping”. The benefits of using engineered construction doors over more traditional methods are; The door has a much more uniform look (no mismatched colours/panels, everything matches), It is far more unlikely to twist, split (we do not get problems with panels splitting) and possibly the most important reason is that it is much more Eco friendly!

"A high quality product exactly as described. Would like an option where you can get furniture pre routed for the doors as this was the hardest part of fitting these. Understand this does not suit everyone, but hence why could be an option."

"excellent service from 'Doordeals' eg price, information, delivery process. My only criticism was with the product in that excessive sealant had been applied behind the top curved glass panels. The assembler had then not removed this and thus was unable to push in the fixing beadings which slightly spoil the look of the product but make it difficult to mask and paint as the paint will not adhere to this sealant A shame really as it spoils the final appearance but otherwise the product quality was good. Thanks Alan"
