About this door

These Internal Hardwood Pattern 20 Pairs would be an ideal solution for anyone who would like to open up a room and allow extra light to flow through from room to room. These doors are manufactured from kiln dried red hardwood timber. Every effort is made to ensure that all timber used for our doors comes from well-managed forests where more trees are planted than harvested. All doors have beading cut, mitred and pinned. They come as a 40mm thickness and can only be used internally

Glazing

This door is supplied ready to glaze with various glass options, allowing you to customise the door to your tastes.

Finishing

Supplied Unfinished, these doors are able to take a stain or paint finish. Our recommendation for a natural, clear finish would be to use a Treatex hardwax oil.

The correct storage, fitting and finishing of your new door/s are very important factors in getting the best out of your purchase.

We would always recommend reading our Door Care information which can be viewed by Clicking Here, along with any additional manufacturers documentation supplied with the door itself.

If there is anything you are unsure of, you are more than welcome to give us a call to discuss on 0114 2557800 or drop us an email at info@doordeals.co.uk.

Things we thought you may need to know!

Please be aware that any glass supplied may be temporarily glazed (loose pinned) into the door or even supplied separate. This is done to make the door easier to decorate (allows you to paint/stain behind rebates) & handle whilst hanging.

These doors are listed as the TOTAL size for the pair of doors rather than the size of each door leaf.

These doors are manufactured using LVL (Laminated Veneered Lumber). LVL or more commonly known as “engineered timber” is a modern method of construction that is economical with the use of natural timber resources. The main parts & rails of the door are usually constructed using solid strips/blocks of timber (some internals may contain a laminated board and/or particleboard), which are then glued and then clamped together. They are then faced with a veneer and edged with a solid timber “lipping”. The benefits of using engineered construction doors over more traditional methods are; The door has a much more uniform look (no mismatched colours/panels, everything matches), It is far more unlikely to twist, split (we do not get problems with panels splitting) and possibly the most important reason is that it is much more Eco friendly!

"If you went by the weight, you'd be forgiven for thinking these doors were solid Mahogony instead of veneered. Having said that, they seem to be extremely well made, and we are very pleased with them. The finish on the doors was so good it seemed a shame to paint them, as they would have looked super just varnished, but that wasn't an option where we wanted to put them, however, they look really good painted too. So all in all I would have no hesitation in recommending Doordeals to anyone. They were very helpful, and more than happy to answer any questions I had through their online chat facility. A very professional servce that I would use again."
