About this door

These White Primed Brooklyn 2 Panel Doors are perfect if you are looking for doors with a modern, crisp styling, that theoretically can be purchased and hung without the need for further finishing, then this more Heavy duty range of solid core white primed single leaf and casement pairs, is well worthy of consideration. As the expression goes"seeing is believing" and we're convinced that when you see the quality of the factory primer coat you'll have difficulty believing that these doors are not fully finished. We've introduced several new models into the range to cater for the full spectrum of personal taste, from the more traditional to the more contemporary, many of which are glazed options featuring clear bevelled, toughened glass. Of course, as impressed as we are (and expect you to be) with the quality of the finish, naturally we'd recommend a further treatment application prior to hanging just to be on the safe side and equally as important fully validate the comprehensive Doordeals guarantee.

Finishing

Supplied with a white primer coat, these White moulded doors will require further undercoat & top coats to finish the product.

Things we thought you may need to know!

These doors are manufactured using LVL (Laminated Veneered Lumber). LVL or more commonly known as “engineered timber” is a modern method of construction that is economical with the use of natural timber resources. The main parts & rails of the door are usually constructed using solid strips/blocks of timber (some internals may contain a laminated board and/or particleboard), which are then glued and then clamped together. They are then faced with a veneer and edged with a solid timber “lipping”. The benefits of using engineered construction doors over more traditional methods are; The door has a much more uniform look (no mismatched colours/panels, everything matches), It is far more unlikely to twist, split (we do not get problems with panels splitting) and possibly the most important reason is that it is much more Eco friendly!

Please note: Where available the 526mm, 626mm, 726mm, 826mm, & 926mm width Metric size doors will generally be 40mm thick as opposed to the standard 35mm of the more traditional imperial sized doors.
