Normally retailing at over £400, these doors are on offer for a limited time only.
This door is supplied pre-glazed with triple glazed, leaded and bevelled safety glass which also offers a degree of privacy.
The glazing panels will allow lots of natural light to brighten up your hallway and provide a pleasant feature.
This door is supplied pre-finished with a clear satin lacquer, giving the doors a great look and protecting the door from the elements. No matter where you purchase your external oak doors from it is an unfortunate fact that these doors are not suitable for exposure to direct rain and hot sunlight. This means that these glazed external doors must be sheltered by either a porch or canopy to create a stylish and protective entranceway into your home. These doors are eminently suitable for exterior use, but with this pre-condition to validate any guarantee.
These doors are manufactured using LVL (Laminated Veneered Lumber). LVL or more commonly known as “engineered timber” is a modern method of construction that is economical with the use of natural timber resources. The main parts & rails of the door are usually constructed using solid strips/blocks of timber (some internals may contain a laminated board and/or particleboard), which are then glued and then clamped together. They are then faced with a veneer and edged with a solid timber “lipping”. The benefits of using engineered construction doors over more traditional methods are; The door has a much more uniform look (no mismatched colours/panels, everything matches), It is far more unlikely to twist, split (we do not get problems with panels splitting) and possibly the most important reason is that it is much more Eco friendly!
