The GO10 Plywood Flush FD30 Fire Doors are an incredibly popular choice where cost, practicality and simplicity are paramount.
Often used in commercial applications, these simple, yet functional glazed fire doors are a great choice for a range of purposes.
Supplied as a paint grade, unfinished door ready for on-site finishing on site, these doors have the ultimate flexibility in terms of matching with other doors or interior styles.
With a 'porthole' style glazing aperture with an 18" diameter in the top center of the door, these doors are supplied either unglazed with mitred and pinned beading or with an option of factory pre-glazing, in accordance with BWF specifications. If a fire certificate is required, these doors must be factory glazed.
These pre-glazed internal fire doors offer 30 minutes of protection when installed in accordance with the instructions/compliance with the fire certificate.

These doors are supplied either unglazed (supplied with mitred and pinned beading) or with an option of factory pre-glazing in one of the following:

For the doors to meet BWF Certification (FD30 Regulations), a factory glazed option must be chosen.
Decoration and Finishing - Internal Paint Grade Doors
Supplied unfinished, these doors are able to take a paint finish.
The correct storage, fitting, and finishing of your new doors are very important factors in getting the best out of your purchase.
Please always avoid the use of water-based finishing products as this may cause the door to bow, warp or delaminate. Using these types of products will invalidate your guarantee.

What is Engineered Timber?
These doors are manufactured using laminated veneered lumber (LVL). LVL or more commonly known as “engineered timber” is a modern method of construction that is economical with the use of natural timber resources.
The main parts & rails of the door are usually constructed using solid strips/blocks of timber (some internals may contain a laminated board and/or particleboard), which are then glued and then clamped together.
They are then faced with a veneer and edged with a solid timber “lipping”. The benefits of using engineered construction doors over more traditional methods are that it is far more unlikely to twist or split (we do not get problems with panels splitting) and possibly the most important reason is that it is much more eco-friendly!
