About this door lining

The Internal Oak 30 Minute Fire Door Lining is manufactured using solid timber with an Oak veneer. The veneer laminated construction has the advantage of extra stability and material economy without losing authenticity.

The cut lengths supplied are sufficient to fabricate to most standard door sizes.

These linings are suitable for use with any of our FD30 rated fire doors provided they are grooved for the appropriate size intumescent strips and installed correctly.

Contents of 1 pack:

• 1 x 1050mm x 32mm x 133mm head
• 2 x 2100mm x 32mm x 133mm jambs (legs)
• 1 x 1050mm x 12mm x 45mm door stop
• 2 x 2100mm x 12mm x 45mm door stop

Finishing

Supplied unfinished, these frames are able to take a stain or paint finish. 

On this product, there is also an option for the frame to be supplied pre-finished by our french polisher. If you select this option, your frame will be supplied pre-finished to a professional standard.

Your frame will be pre-sanded before being sealed with a shellac sanding sealer. When dry, the frame is then "de-nibbed" with a 400 grit sandpaper and hand-polished with two coats of Finpol French-Polish, specially formulated for doors and internal joinery.

This achieves a great looking semi-matt finish which is resistant to knocks and finger marks and is smooth to the touch.

Selecting this option will add approximately a week on to any estimated lead time.

Optional Grooving

On this item, we offer the option of supplying these frames pre-grooved.

If selected from the drop-down box above, we'll supply the frame ready to be fitted with intumescent strips.
