Internal Softwood 30 Minute Fire Door Casing

About this frame

The Internal Softwood 30 Minute Fire Door Casing is designed for use with FD30-rated doors up to 926mm wide and 44mm thick and can easily be cut down to suit narrower doors. 

This FD30 frame is supplied trenched out to accept the included 15mm x 4mm self-adhesive intumescent strips (brushed).

This frame is available in options to suit different wall thicknesses.

Pack Contents:

• 1 x head at 1050mm (Trenched to suit a maximum of 926mm)
• 2 x legs at 2050mm
• 3 x 2050mm lengths of intumescent strips

Certification

This frame is only suitable for FD30-rated applications. We would always advise checking your fire door certification to ensure this frame meets the minimum requirements set out by the certification document. If you are at all unsure about the suitability of your door and frame combination, we’d also recommend speaking to a building inspector/your local planning office.

Our frames have been manufactured to meet the following requirements:

Minimum Density of 510kg/m3.

Often the fire door certification would specify the specification of the frame required to ensure compliance.

Finishing

These casings are supplied unfinished meaning they can be finished to match any décor. They can be stained or painted to your preference.
