About this door

For those looking for an alternative to more conventional Room Dividers and Bi-Folding doors, the ingenious Internal Oak Lincoln Roomfold modular folding and sliding kits allow you to quickly and effortlessly open up living space when the need arises.

These contemporary door sets are made with high quality fixings and come complete with all the relevant hardware. All that is required in addition is your choice of handle!

Supplied pre-glazed with clear toughened safety glass, these doors will allow light to flood between rooms as well as creating an aesthetically pleasing feature.

The Roomfold system design allows between 12mm and 19mm of clearance underneath the doors to accommodate the floor covering. To ensure, after installation, there is sufficient room for carpets or wooden flooring underneath and thereby eliminate the need to trim the bottom of the doors, the frame must be positioned so that the jambs touch the concrete or the floorboards.

The Roomfold system is top hung, meaning there is no need for a track at floor level.

This Roomfold product includes:

  • 24" Oak Internal Lincoln Clear Glazed Doors
  • Oak veneered frame pack (including head, jambs and decorative stops)
  • Head track
  • All folding hardware (excluding handles)

The Roomfold system is available in a number of Internal Oak doors within our range and is the perfect compliment to any home.

Supplied Unfinished, these doors are able to take a stain or paint finish. Our recommendation for a natural, clear finish would be to use a Treatex Hardwax Oil, which is available from the "Stains, Paints and Finishes" section of our website.

The correct storage, fitting and finishing of your new door/s are very important factors in getting the best out of your purchase.

We would always recommend reading our Door Care information which can be viewed by Clicking Here, along with any additional manufacturers documentation supplied with the door itself.

Things we thought you may need to know!

These doors are manufactured using LVL (Laminated Veneered Lumber). LVL or more commonly known as “engineered timber” is a modern method of construction that is economical with the use of natural timber resources. The main parts & rails of the door are usually constructed using solid strips/blocks of timber (some internals may contain a laminated board and/or particleboard), which are then glued and then clamped together. They are then faced with a veneer and edged with a solid timber “lipping”. The benefits of using engineered construction doors over more traditional methods are; The door has a much more uniform look (no mismatched colours/panels, everything matches), It is far more unlikely to twist, split (we do not get problems with panels splitting) and possibly the most important reason is that it is much more Eco friendly!
