About this product

Treatex Hardwax Oil Traditional is a great product use in preserving and enhancing the appearance of all types of internal joinery.

Treatex Hardwax Oil Traditional is manufactured on a base of natural, sustainable raw materials including: Linseed oil, sunflower oil, jojoba oil, beeswax, canauba wax and candelilla wax.

Treatex Hardwax Oil Traditional is the first hardwax oil to be antibacterial certified. Laboratory tests by world renowned antibacterial experts Sanitized have shown that Treatex Hardwax Oil Traditional kills 99.99% of Escherichia coli (E.Coli), Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and Klebsiella pneumonia.

Use a brush or roller to evenly apply Treatex Hardwax Oil Traditional allowing roughly 30g per m2. On worktops and doors etc. pay particular attention to end grain (on end grain apply wet on wet until product is no longer absorbed by the wood). Allow to dry - maintaining warmth and ventilation will enable the surface to dry within 3-6 hours. Apply with a brush or roller a second coat of Treatex Hardwax Oil Traditional, again allowing roughly 30g per m2. Allow to dry thoroughly overnight before the surface is lightly used. The surface will reach maximum hardness after a further 24 hours.
