The External Door Blank from LPD Doors is a hardwood-faced 45mm solid core door.
Having a solid timber core these doors have the benefit of being very secure and the ability to be cut down to any size, ideal for narrow non-standard doorways.
These doors have been engineered to be lightweight for transportation and health and safety reasons.
Whilst being lighter than older specifications, this doesn't impact quality, nor change the fact that this is a strong, secure, solid timber core door.
Things we thought you may need to know!
These doors are made from solid timber strips meaning you can trim them to whatever size you require without detriment to the construction. There is NO Maximum Or Minimum amount you can trim from these doors.
When trimming these doors, it is advised that you use a hardwood lipping to finish the edge; this helps protect the door from the elements and creates a neater edge.

Supplied unfinished, these doors are able to take a stain or paint finish. A range of products would be suitable, including Impranol, which is available from the "Stains, Paints and Finishes" section of our website.
The correct storage, fitting, and finishing of your new doors are very important factors in getting the best out of your purchase.
Please always avoid the use of water-based finishing products as this may cause the door to bow, warp or delaminate. Using these types of products will invalidate your guarantee.
