The Softwood Gainsborough Doors have a very substantial look & feel to them. Individually hand crafted by one joiner from start to finish, these bespoke, quality doors will add a real touch of elegance to any property.
The Gainsborough has six raised and fielded panels giving the door a stunning presence and an air of quiet authority.
Custom Sizes
On this product there is an option to have the door made to a custom size. The maximum dimensions we can offer would be 914mm (36") x 2133mm (84"). There is an additional charge for this service (see size dropdown box for details).
Shadow Line
This door features an optional (select from above) centre shadow line, adding a touch of tradition and elegance to its design.
Things we thought you may need to know!
These doors are constructed with solid Softwood, our standard softwood timbers are Douglas Fir or Hemlock.
These doors are constructed by traditional methods using mortice & tenon joints for strength and durability. Panels are set into grooved channels within the door stiles and rails.
These doors may be delivered with extended stiles (horns) to ensure protection during transit & storage. They can easily be removed prior to installation.
Please note, these doors are supplied with a primer coat. Accessories shown in the image are for illustration purposes only, these can be purchased separately.

Decoration and Finishing - Ready To Finish
These doors are supplied ready to finish (not painted as in the photos), these doors are able to take a stain or paint finish.
We can also offer a priming service if you would like the doors to arrive pre-primed - Please contact us for details.
The correct storage, fitting and finishing of your new door/s are very important factors in getting the best out of your purchase.
Please always avoid the use of water-based finishing products as this may cause the door to bow, warp or delaminate. Using these types of products will invalidate your guarantee.
