About this door
The White Primed Canterbury 4 Panel is a solid core traditionally styled white primed door.
Ideal for a wide range of home settings, this is a classic, continuously popular style within the range and compliments a large number of interior design approaches due to it's simplistic and elegant nature.
With four raised and fielded panels and traditional beading around each panel, this style lends itself to a diverse range of colours, allowing flexibility in your design choices.
The range includes a matching fire door and glazed door options to allow you to complete the look throughout your home.
This door is supplied pre-primed, meaning that it has been factory treated with a base coat.
This door will require further topcoats of a paint product in order to finish the door, it's recommended that decoration is performed straight away.
The correct storage, fitting, and finishing of your new door(s) are very important factors in getting the best out of your purchase and can often be a precursor to any guarantee.
We would always recommend reading our Door Care information which can be viewed by clicking here, along with any additional manufacturer's documentation supplied with the door itself.
These doors are manufactured using laminated veneered lumber (LVL). LVL or more commonly known as “engineered timber” is a modern method of construction that is economical with the use of natural timber resources.
The main parts & rails of the door are usually constructed using solid strips/blocks of timber (some internals may contain a laminated board and/or particleboard), which are then glued and then clamped together.
They are then faced with a veneer and edged with a solid timber “lipping”. The benefits of using engineered construction doors over more traditional methods are that it is far more unlikely to twist or split (we do not get problems with panels splitting) and possibly the most important reason is that it is much more eco-friendly!
