PyroPlex Fire Door PU Foam

Cut time and not corners with this PyroPlex PU Fire Door Foam. Seal and protect your fire-rated door frames to prevent unprotected cavities between your walls and frame to slow down the spread of fire in the event of an emergency. 

Pyroplex® Fire Rated PU Foam is a flame retardant based polyurethane expanding foam, which sets in a solid form by using moisture present in the atmosphere. The product is suitable for sealing gaps around doors and window frames and can also be used in non-combustible services such as ducts and cable trays.

With fire resistance of up to 2 hours dependent upon gap to depth ratio, this foam is quick curing and can be cut, sawn or formed within 60 minutes of application. The product can be painted and/or plastered without additional primers. 

Expanding up to 38 times it's volume, this proves and economical option compared with alternatives. 

Pyroplex® Fire Rated PU Foam has been tested in accordance with BS 476: Part 20/22, BS EN 1366-4, and has a European Classification EI 120 in accordance with BS EN 13501-2.
