About this product
This Standard Euro Profile Cylinder (Turn) is a 6-pin Architectural Cylider designed to be Anti-Drill, Anti-Panic, Anti-Bump and Snap Secure.
As a key/turn cylinder, this product features a 55mm retaining screw and is supplied with 3 keys.
In a 70mm size (35/35), this cylinder is available in Keyed to Differ, Keyed Alike/To Pass and Master Keyed options, please see the FAQ box below if you are unsure on these terms.
Cylinder Lock Information
Below are some commonly used terms on cylinder locks and what they mean, please do give the office a call on 0114 2557800 if you need any assistance.
Keyed to Differ
This simply means that each lock supplied in a set will all come with their own keys for each lock, these are NOT interchangeable and cannot be used in the other locks in the set.
Keyed Alike/To Pass
Locks that are keyed alike, are great for convenience where youn would like every lock within the set to work with the same key. All locks within the "keyed alike/to pass" set will work with the keys supplied and any key can be used to open multiple locks.
Master Keyed
A "Master Keyed" set is a mixture of the above two, in that each lock in the set has their own individual keys that can only be used in that physical lock, with the addition of a seperate master key, that can open all of the locks within that set. These are ideal in scenarios where for security individuals need their own keys (which don't open the other locks) but a building owner or caretaker for example, has a master key that will open any of the locks within that set.
