About this door
The White Primed Shaker Denver is a great choice for those looking to add an attractive and non-fussy contemporary design to any room.
With one large 'shaker style' panel, the door creates clean lines by not using a more traditional decorative beading around the panel, instead, the door being built around the panel.
These doors are heavy and robust, featuring a solid core for extra strength and stability. Thicker than industry standard lippings allow the ability to trim up to 32mm off the width and height of the door, giving great flexibility for non-standard openings.
Things we thought you may need to know!
Please note: Where available the 526mm, 626mm, 726mm, 826mm, & 926mm width Metric size doors will generally be 40mm thick as opposed to the standard 35mm of the more traditional imperial sized doors.
This door is supplied pre-primed, meaning that it has been factory treated with a base coat.
This door will require further topcoats of a paint product in order to finish the door, it's recommended that decoration is performed straight away.
The correct storage, fitting, and finishing of your new door(s) are very important factors in getting the best out of your purchase and can often be a precursor to any guarantee.
We would always recommend reading our Door Care information which can be viewed by clicking here, along with any additional manufacturer's documentation supplied with the door itself.
These doors are manufactured using laminated veneered lumber (LVL). LVL or more commonly known as “engineered timber” is a modern method of construction that is economical with the use of natural timber resources.
The main parts & rails of the door are usually constructed using solid strips/blocks of timber (some internals may contain a laminated board and/or particleboard), which are then glued and then clamped together.
They are then faced with a veneer and edged with a solid timber “lipping”. The benefits of using engineered construction doors over more traditional methods are that it is far more unlikely to twist or split (we do not get problems with panels splitting) and possibly the most important reason is that it is much more eco-friendly!
