Glazing

These doors are supplied pre-glazed with Clear toughened safety glass.

Please note that smaller size door pair options will feature a smaller area of glass than those pictured. If this is of a particular concern, please contact us for advice as to the sizing of the glass panels.

Delivery Information

On this range of doors, in order to give you the best possible value and to cut down on their carbon footprint, we'll dispatch directly from the factory. This means that usual delivery times to 99% of mainland UK addresses would be 3 to 5 days*.

You will be contacted by the delivery team to schedule a suitable delivery day - this will normally happen within a couple of days from your order being processed and we'll only dispatch once we've spoken to you to ensure that you will be available to accept your items.

If you have a more pressing need for these products, please contact us to discuss alternative arrangements either on our sales office telephone 0114 2557800 or via info@doordeals.co.uk.

* Customers with an address falling outside of this coverage will be contacted by our delivery team to discuss options and lead times.

Please Note: The above delivery estimates are subject to stock availability.

Finishing

Supplied unfinished by default, these doors are able to take a stain or paint finish. Our recommendation for a natural, clear finish would be to use a Treatex Hardwax Oil, which is available from the "Stains, Paints and Finishes" section of our website.

On this product, there is also an option for the door to be supplied to you pre-finished.

If you select this option, the doors will be dispatched with a factory applied clear satin lacquer, accentuating the attractive oak grain and offering protection from finger marks and changes to the doors moisture and temperature.

Please Note: If you have previously purchased from this range of doors with our optional pre-finishing, please ensure you mention this at the point of order. Any doors ordered prior to September 2019 will have been finished via a different method and it's important that this is noted to achieve the most consistent possible looks.

The correct storage, fitting and finishing of your new door/s are very important factors in getting the best out of your purchase.

We would always recommend reading our Door Care information which can be viewed by Clicking Here, along with any additional manufacturers documentation supplied with the door itself.

If there is anything you are unsure of, you are more than welcome to give us a call to discuss on 0114 2557800 or drop us an email at info@doordeals.co.uk.

Things we thought you may need to know!

These doors are listed as the TOTAL size for the pair of doors rather than the size of each door leaf.

Please note that smaller size door pair options will feature a smaller area of glass than those pictured. If this is of a particular concern, please contact us for advice as to the sizing of the glass panels.

These doors are manufactured using LVL (Laminated Veneered Lumber). LVL or more commonly known as “engineered timber” is a modern method of construction that is economical with the use of natural timber resources. The main parts & rails of the door are usually constructed using solid strips/blocks of timber (some internals may contain a laminated board and/or particleboard), which are then glued and then clamped together. They are then faced with a veneer and edged with a solid timber “lipping”. The benefits of using engineered construction doors over more traditional methods are; The door has a much more uniform look (no mismatched colours/panels, everything matches), It is far more unlikely to twist, split (we do not get problems with panels splitting) and possibly the most important reason is that it is much more Eco friendly!
