About this product
Our self-adhesive fire-rated Intumescent Hinge Pads provide FD30/FD60-rated hinge protection, ideal for domestic and commercial use alike.
In the event of a fire, the pads react to heat causing the pads to expand, this provides a protective barrier from fire and smoke. They are often needed to comply with fire safety regulations and certifications.
These intumescent hinge pads are manufactured from Mono Ammonium Phosphate (MAP) or interdens.
Sizes:
FD30: 1mm x 100mm x 30mm
FD60: 2mm x 100mm x 30mm
Things we thought you should know!
These intumescent hinge pads are sold as a pack of 4, suitable for a pair of hinges. We recommend at least 3 hinges for FD30 doors and 4 hinges for FD60 doors, please check your door's fire certification for further information.
