About this door
The Redwood SP L&B (Ledged & Braced) doors are a classic and traditionally boarded door design that offers a simple, durable and cost-effective solution for a wide range of applications.
Often used in outbuildings, sheds, workshops and garden buildings, these doors are boarded on the front side with a tongue and groove, with traditional style bracing to the back. This provides a rustic appearance whilst helping to maintain the strength required for everyday use.
The timber features a traditional grain pattern with natural knots that enhance its rustic appearance.
Featuring boards at 16mm thickness, the number of boards would depend on the width of door selected, for reference this would be as follows:

This style of door can be fitted on a standard external door frame on "T" hinges and is made to be used in conjunction with a rim lock.
Decoration and Finishing - Redwood
Manufactured from specially selected timbers, these doors have a smooth sanded surface ready for finishing. Whilst commonly used as a paint-grade door and normally decorated in a painted finish, these could also be stained with a modicum of preparation/filling of fixing holes etc.
The correct storage, fitting and finishing of your new door/s are very important factors in getting the best out of your purchase.
Please always avoid the use of water-based finishing products as this may cause the door to bow, warp or delaminate. Using these types of products will invalidate your guarantee.
