About this product
Rigid Box Twin Flipper Intumescent Strips provide a seal for fire-rated timber door edges and frames, these strips are available in white for fire and smoke applications.
Supplied in 2.1m lengths as standard, these strips are easy to fit with no special tools required.
Areas of application
- Rebates in timber door leaves or door frames
- Use on single and double-action leaf doors
- Use on latched and unlatched doors
- New build and retrofit applications
Product Specifications
Provided in a 15mm x 4mm size, these strips have primary test evidence to provide a minimum of 30 / 60 minutes of resistance to fire as well as providing smoke and acoustic resistance.
Supplied with a self-adhesive backer for ease of application, these strips are available in a white colour.
Certification
Certified under the Certifire Certificate: CF822, this intumescent strip is only suitable for FD30S/FD60S-rated applications. We would always advise checking your fire door certification to ensure this strip meets the minimum requirements set out by the certification document. If you are at all unsure about the suitability of your door, frame and strip combination, we’d also recommend speaking to a building inspector/your local planning office.
